When I was a young kender, I was out exploring Kendermore. Somehow, this Knight (what was his name? Storm? Steem?) Anyway, he managed to lose his sword. I found it and went looking for him. He had left, and I chased after him. When I finally saw him, it was night, and raining. I was about to rum toward him holding thew sword up when a bolt of lightning hit the sword and turned my fist black. The next day, my fist was magnetic and could pick up anything metal and not drop it. Pretty kewl, huh?
